Company founder Andrew Tart started his career at a British Leyland garage and was later the director and majority shareholder of Classic Motor Cars, the premier Jaguar restoration business based in Bridgnorth, Shropshire.
Andrew founded ATME in 2001 with the idea of building a workshop focused on high quality, precise engineering – and hiring the best team in the business to help him do the job. To maintain that level of expertise, Andrew’s philosophy is to keep the business small, maintaining a tight operation: “Race car preparation and restoration is a complex safety-critical business. For us, small is beautiful. We are craftsmen working to meticulous standards.”
